Good Day Calendar – When Modern Application Collides With Ancestral Tradition
Our 2016 New Year calendar was inspired by the date selection custom followed by Vietnamese people since ancient times. According to Oriental astrology, in a year, there are days when celestial energy is favorable for specific important activities; and choosing the right time to do the right thing has been a deeply-rooted notion in the mind of the Vietnamese. For that reason, we – the creative team of SDmedia – decided to put this date selection method into practice in our Good Day Calendar for the 2016 New Year, reviving the spirit of a long-established tradition.
